New taxes on businesses, bullets part of Preckwinkle's budget | |

October 18, 2012 Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle's proposed $2.95 billion budget for the coming year calls for new taxes on businesses that buy goods from outside the county, as well as higher taxes on cigarettes and bullets.
