New Wauconda police chief Yost addresses controversy | |

September 17, 2013 For the first time, new Wauconda Police Chief Patrick Yost talks publicly about the controversy surrounding his predecessor's departure and his own rise to the big chair. Yost, 48, of Wauconda, acknowledged the leadership change was unusually dramatic. "I did not campaign for the mayor," he said. "I did not donate money to his campaign.
