Nine Cook County judges to be hired despite lighter caseloads | |
April 03, 2012 Cook County will hire nine associate judges at a cost of $2.1 million in the first year, though the current 415 judges already have caseloads lighter than the state average. Associate judge posts are based on a county's population, and Cook County saw a steep drop in the past decade.
