No reindeer necessary for Santa's Schaumburg visit | |

December 09, 2013 Santa Claus came to town Sunday, but Rudolph, Donner, Blitzen and the rest of the reindeer gang was nowhere to be found. Instead, the Jolly Old Elf arrived by helicopter to the Schaumburg Regional Airport, where he was greeted by about a couple hundred excited youngsters and their families for the Schaumburg Park District's annual "Santa's Flight to Schaumburg."
