No trial until January for Naperville man charged in fatal stabbing | |

August 29, 2014 Roughly three years will have passed before the man accused in a 2012 stabbing death in downtown Naperville has his day in court. Daniel Olaska's defense attorney, Ernie DiBenedetto, told Judge Kathryn Creswell Thursday that he will not be able to defend Olaska until mid-January 2015 at the earliest. "Everyone, including my client, his family, the victim's family and the public, is anxious to get this done, but it has proved to be a difficult undertaking," DiBenedetto said.
