One shot in failed Oakbrook Center robbery | |

June 24, 2013 One suspect was shot and Oak Brook police are searching for two others after an armed robbery attempt turned violent Sunday afternoon at a jewelry store in Oakbrook Center mall. Police said the suspect was shot by an armed security guard after using a sledgehammer to smash a glass display case in the store.
