Only minor injuries when SUV hits storefront in Arlington Heights | |

August 22, 2014 A sport utility vehicle drove into the front of two stores before noon Thursday in Evergreen Plaza in downtown Arlington Heights. Police Sgt. Greg Czarnecki said when the crash happened about 11:40 a.m., several pedestrians were walking on the sidewalk, but they were able to avoid being struck by the Toyota RAV4 SUV, whose driver was making a turn in the parking lot.
