Palatine senior wins $100K scholarship in football toss | |

January 11, 2012 Palatine High School senior Erin Rhodes won a $100,000 college scholarship from Dr Pepper last week after competing in a football toss at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. Rhodes, who plans to attend Hope College in the fall, managed to get 17 footballs through a two-foot diameter hole in an inflatable Dr Pepper can within 30 seconds.
