October 12, 2011 Wise investors have long known the power of reinvesting their capital gains before taxes have to be paid. This power reflects a familiarity with the workings of the internal revenue code 1031, also known as a 1031 exchange. Tyler Deters of Paradigm Commercial Capital Group along with Brock Bowden and Mark Johnson of Yellowstone Partners are hosting a networking event for professionals in the greater Salt Lake Area. This will be a fantastic opportunity for professionals to connect across disciplines, build out their network, and be educated on some of the details regarding 1031 exchanges along with leading sales techniques. Matt Harris and Mark Hendry from Mountain View Title Company will be giving the presentation on 1031 exchanges while others will be giving brief presentations on leading sales techniques applying to all disciplines. A 1031 exchange is part of the internal revenue code, and is a way for investors to defer taxes on their capital gains. This allows them to reinvest their capital immediately, deferring tax burdens, allowing them greater freedom and opportunities. C. Spencer Reynolds, of Questioning Success will be giving a motivating presentation on selling and increasing personal influence. Relationships have always been important in any kind of business, and increasingly so in today's market conditions.
