Ricketts: Wrigley plan crucial for Cubs to win | |

April 15, 2013 Saying "we need this project to bring our fans a winner," Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts released the details Monday of a $500 million plan to renovate Wrigley Field over the next five years. While the Wrigley Field work itself will cost about $300 million, the project also calls for a 175-room hotel, an increase in the number of night games, and major additions for signage in the park.
