Round Lake chaplain lauded for ministering to police | |

January 26, 2015 After about 35 years as a certified chaplain to police departments, the Rev. Lisle Kauffman now has his name on an annual excellence award. "Police officers care," said Kauffman, 75. "But you never get the headline that says, ‘Police lieutenant so and so cared about the people he was involved with.'" Kauffman has served Round Lake and other suburban departments.
