Sandra Rogers gets 61 years in prison for 2003 hammer attack | |

March 15, 2013 The sentence issued Thursday by a Lake County judge means Sandra Rogers will likely spend the rest of her life behind bars for trying to kill her ex-husband and his wife nearly a decade ago. Judge John Phillips sentenced Rogers, now 56, to 61 years in prison for the May 19, 2003 attack on Rick Rogers and Angela Gloria in their Lincolnshire home.
