Schaumburg police chief says ex-girlfriend wanted revenge | |

October 10, 2012 Schaumburg officials Tuesday released a memo from Police Chief Brian Howerton from last July in which he alleges his former girlfriend was motivated by revenge when she filed a complaint against him in March. In Howerton's July 6 memo to Village Manager Ken Fritz, Howerton asserts that his former girlfriend's anger at the relationship's ending was the real reason for her complaint.
