Sell Off Auctions Reaches 2000 Registered Users: With Hopes To Continue Expanding

November 19, 2010

SellOff Auctions is a new and fun penny auction site that is expanding quickly. They were happen to announce today that they are growing quickly, just in time for those holiday shoppers!

Sell Off Auctions is becoming a growing force in the penny auction marketplace and has now achieved a user base of more than 2,000 participants, company officials said yesterday.

"We are a new company but we continue to see substantial growth," Josh, a company spokesman said. "With the holidays just around the corner, we expect that our business will continue to expand."

Sell Off Auctions is a penny auction site. That means that users pay a $179 sign up fee and are then given a package of bids. They are also allowed to purchase additional bids if they so choose. Each time they place a bid on an auction, the price goes up by a penny, and time is added to the clock. Whomever places the last bid before time runs out wins the auction and gets to buy the product at the final price - which is generally lower than retail.

"People like to save money, but they also like a fun competition," Josh said. "Sell Off Auctions provides both experiences."

The company was just launched two months ago with the goal of gradually entering the competitive penny auction marketplace.

"We felt that the time was right to enter this industry," Josh said. "People still like online auctions, but are tired of buying second-hand goods from third party sellers on traditional auction sites like eBay."

When people purchase from a penny auction site, they are buying brand new merchandise that is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The items are also shipped directly by the penny auction site and not a third party.

"We attribute much of our growth to our dedication to providing the best customer service possible," Josh said. "While many other penny auction sites have little or no customer service, our customers can contact us with their questions or concerns 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

The company also offers a Customer Satisfaction Refund. In other words, if people try out Sell Off Auctions, don't win any auctions and decide the experience is not right for them, the company will refund their sign up fee.

"We feel that we offer a great service that can allow people to save a lot of money," Josh said. "But, even if you have the greatest site in the world, there will always be some people who don't enjoy it. We understand that and are more than willing to offer them a refund."
