Shot Arlington Hts. officer to make 'full recovery' | |

December 13, 2013 An Arlington Heights police officer shot in a chin by a gunman Thursday night is resting comfortably in the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, police said Friday morning. But without the "divine intervention" of a firefighter who just happened to be visiting family down the street from the shooting and was able to provide immediate first aid, the outcome might not have been as favorable, police added.
