Soldier's story shows tragedy of World War I | |
June 28, 2014 One century after the start of World War I, the front line of death and destruction still leaves a mark through the Alps, Central Europe and beyond. It claimed some 14 million lives -- 5 million civilians and 9 million soldiers, sailors and airmen from 28 countries.
