Staff recalls Poplar Creek Music Theatre 20 years later

The time Frank Sinatra forgot his sheet music, or the day Neil Diamond played softball with the staff, or when Joe Cocker's crew lost a piano leg. Those who worked at the Poplar Creek Music Theatre in Hoffman Estates have plenty of memories of the venue 20 years after it closed. "There was just something special about the place. It touched a lot of people's lives," said Sue Syslo-Baran, of Streamwood.
