State Senate approves recreational marijuana bill in quick vote, after changes | |

May 30, 2019 The state of Illinois is one step closer to legalizing recreational marijuana. The Illinois Senate voted Wednesday to pass the bill, sending it to the House for consideration in the final two days of the session this week. The fast vote was 38-17, with two Republicans joining 36 Democrats in supporting it.
