Sting musical launches in Chicago before cruising off to Broadway | |

June 06, 2014 British rock star Sting goes back to his childhood roots in Northern England for his new musical, "The Last Ship," which is making its world premiere pre-Broadway debut at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago from Tuesday, June 10, through Sunday, July 13. "The Last Ship" tells the tale of a shipbuilding community that faces a loss of dignity and pride when the ship manufacturer is threatened with closure.
