Strong storms blow through suburbs | |

June 13, 2013 Heavy storms brought large hail, strong winds and significant amounts of rain through the suburbs Wednesday evening, and severe weather warnings continued late into the night in some areas. A tornado watch remained in effect for Kane and McHenry counties until 11 p.m, while Cook, DuPage and Lake counties were under a severe thunderstorm watch until 1 a.m. Thursday.
