Suburban centenarians look back on a lifetime of friendship | |

September 26, 2013 Not many people reach their 100th birthday, and even fewer get to do it with their best friend by their side. But when Irene Cook of Addison and Alice Jensen of Arlington Heights get together, it's easy to see their tight bond of friendship. "We didn't have much, but we had friendship," Cook said.
