January 18, 2022 Glen Ellyn pastor James Shannon was 7 years old when the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. first came to Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. He was inspired by King's activism and saw how "the best vehicle for change was through the church."
