January 30, 2012 Wendy Mabbett's long and arduous journey to overcome decades of cocaine and heroin addiction came to a head in a Lake County courtroom in 2005. She was unemployed and estranged from her family. But a sentence to the county's drug court turned her life around. Today, she counsels people with addictions.
