Thousands in suburbs now have health insurance, but some decide to wait | |

December 31, 2013 Arlington Heights residents Keith and Joyce Moens went on healthcare.gov and could hardly believe their eyes. They found five insurance plans they were eligible for and could afford, thanks to the new federal health care law. Others like Valentine and Maria Dominquez of North Aurora haven't signed up, still hoping they can find jobs with employer-subsidized coverage before the spring deadline to have insurance.
