Tokyo based Equity Researcher Koyal Group Welcomes Senior Market Analyst Watanabe Kazuo

Following his departure from Japanese Bank Mitsubishi UFJ, it has today been announced that trader and analyst, Watanabe Kazuo will join Koyal Group as of June 2013 filling the role of Senior Market Analyst within Koyal Group's private equity department.

Soon to retire Chief Executive Officer Mr Edward Neilson, at boutique equity research house Koyal Group in Tokyo commented on today's appointment saying "I am delighted that we have succeeded in acquiring the services of Mr Wanatabe and I'm supremely confident that his in-depth knowledge of the equity markets here in Asia will serve Koyal Group well over the coming 5 years of his contract. As I will be retiring next year, I would of course like to leave Koyal Group on the strongest footing possible, and the appointment of Mr Watanabe is certainly a step in the right direction".

Mr Watanabe (48) has over 25 years' experience in the investment industry, and is a respected economist in Asia holding undergraduate degrees in finance and economics from the Kyoto University as well as a doctorate in economics from the prestigious Osaka University obtained in the late 1980's. Mr Watanabe said "I hope my skills will serve Koyal Group well and the company will benefit from my expertise. I look forward to beginning in my new role with Koyal Group in June."

Koyal Group's director of private equity Mr Stephen Cole said "I have personally known of Mr Watanabe and his successes for a number of years, he has become somewhat of a celebrity in the analytical world so I strongly look forward to welcoming him to our team, especially as we are in the midst of this market correction here in Japan, as it looks to offer many opportunities in the coming months".

Mr Watanabe is scheduled to commence in his position as Senior Market Analyst on June 20th 2013, and has now signed a 5 year agreement to provide services with Koyal Group.
