February 15, 2011 United has grounded its entire fleet of 757 while aircrafts undergo a "checkup." United spokesman Charlie Hobart said it is likely that many customers flying on United tonight and tomorrow will experience delays and cancellations due to "unscheduled maintenance" on the fleet of 96 aircraft.
