UPDATE 1-Greece's OTE sells Bulgarian unit to Telenor to cut debt | |

April 27, 2013 agreed on Friday to sell its Bulgarian unit to Norway's Telenor to reduce debt and allow it to focus on client retention amid Greece's crippling recession. OTE, which is controlled by Germany's Deutsche Telekom, will receive 717 million euros to sell Globul, Bulgaria's second-biggest mobile operator with 4.5 million customers, it said in a bourse filing.
