Verizon first to offer cellphone roaming in Cuba | |

September 18, 2015 NEW YORK, Sept 17- Verizon Communications Inc announced on Thursday it would become the first U.S. company to offer roaming wireless service in Cuba next week. The announcement by the No. 1 U.S. wireless carrier follows the restoration of diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States in July, after a break of 54 years.
