W. Chicago man gets 17 years for role in stabbing

A 19-year-old West Chicago man was sentenced Tuesday to 17 years in prison in connection with the November 2013 stabbing death of Thomas Tecuatl during an altercation in West Chicago. Anthony Rios -- one of three men charged in connection with the slaying -- pleaded guilty to one count of armed violence, a Class X felony, during an appearance Tuesday before Judge Daniel Guerin, who then handed down the sentence.
