Wauconda trustees say they'll support new police chief | |

September 04, 2013 Even though the village board hasn't voted on the appointment, Patrick Yost is Wauconda's new interim police chief. On Wednesday, trustees said they're ready to move on and support Yost in his new role. "Pat Yost is our chief and I will support him and do whatever I can to make him the best chief that the village of Wauconda can have," Trustee Chuck Black told the Daily Herald.
