Waukegan school district, teachers reach tentative deal | |

October 30, 2014 Waukegan Unit District 60 and teachers union representatives reached a tentative agreement early Thursday morning, ending a strike entering its fourth week. In a joint news release issued by the Illinois Federation of Teachers and District 60 administrators, a three-year tentative agreement was reached between the board of education and the Waukegan Teachers' Council just after midnight.
