Were YWCA Elgin kids racially profiled? | |

September 07, 2013 The YWCA Elgin prides itself on fighting racism and says a group of about 30 of its black teens were the victims of racial profiling during an August field trip to the Dolphin Cove Aquatic Center in Carpentersville. Meanwhile, the Dundee Township Park District's executive director says staff targeted the kids for breaking the rules, not for being black.
