March 11, 2015 A climax in the battle over teachers' and state workers' retirement benefits is set for Wednesday when the Illinois Supreme Court is set to hear arguments in the case to cut those benefits. Their eventual decision could have a big impact on taxes and the state budget, as well as the retirement futures of thousands of teachers and retirees.
