Boyfriend charged with Zion baby's murder | |

August 24, 2013 While police continue to search for the remains of five-month-old Joshua Summeries in a Zion landfill, authorities have charged the boyfriend of the boy's mother with his murder. Police said Saturday morning at a news conference that Demetries Thorpe, 26, of Zion, confessed to killing the boy, placing his body in a backpack and putting the backpack in a Dumpster.
