Cheerful shoppers hit the stores, but Thursday openings diminish crowds | |

November 29, 2014 It wasn't just Victoria's Secret and Gap on shoppers' lists. Consumers also charged the gates to pick up tools, kitchenware and, of course, toys from Disney's "Frozen." But store openings on Thanksgiving are taking some of the wind out of Black Friday. "I was in and out. I'm shocked. It's Black Friday and there's nobody here," a Sleepy Hollow resident said.
