Man gets 78 years for shooting Elgin boy | |

October 17, 2014 A Cook County judge sentenced Miguel Hernandez, 30, of Elgin, to a total of 78 years in prison for the October 2011 murder of 5-year-old Eric Galarza Jr. in a gang-related attack on the victim's father.
