July 10, 2013 Metra Chairman Brad O'Halloran escaped a harsh grilling from RTA officials Wednesday as he made the case for a lavish settlement with former CEO Alex Clifford. The relatively cordial reception came as O'Halloran explained why he was dissatisfied with the direction the agency was going under Clifford and talked about allegations of political hiring.
