December 23, 2019 The Milin Family Foundation is a public foundation. Founded in 2002, The Milin Family Foundation is headquartered in Boca Raton, FL. Michael and Irene Milin give time and money to numerous Jewish causes. They have dedicated their lives to helping the local and world community. Michael and Irene keep a very low profile and never expect recognition for what they do. The Milin Family Foundation is a public foundation. Founded in 2002, The Milin Family Foundation is headquartered in Boca Raton, FL. Michael and Irene Milin give time and money to numerous Jewish causes. They have dedicated their lives to helping the local and world community. Michael and Irene keep a very low profile and never expect recognition for what they do. They help charitable organizations and individuals in need and affected many lives in a positive way. Hanukkah is celebrated for eight days, Hanukkah is the Festival of Lights in honor of the miracle of the oil that lasted eight days in the Holy Temple. On each day, Jews light candles on a hanukkiah (a nine-branched candelabrum), starting with one candle and adding one more each day. The candle used to light the other candles is known as the shamash. Blessings over the candles are chanted and festive songs are sung, commemorating the Maccabean Revolt. Hanukkah is also a time of giving and helping jews around the world. Michael and Irene want all people around the world to have peace and happiness.
