Mt. Prospect woman dies in apartment fire | |

October 21, 2012 An elderly woman died early Saturday morning after a fire in the first-floor apartment of a three-story building in Mount Prospect, officials said. Mount Prospect firefighters received a call at 5:40 a.m. Saturday of smoke in a building at The Colony Apartments in the 2300 block of South Cannon Drive, Fire Chief John Malcolm said.
