St. Charles wants to bring solar power to residents | |

January 29, 2015 St. Charles wants to bring a 500KW solar plant to the city. It would be the first municipality in the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency to have a solar plant. Naperville may also be a competing community. The plant will cost the city nothing to host and would provide residents access to solar power for the first time.
