State board to decide need for new hospital in Lindenhurst | |

March 25, 2013 The Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board will decide Wednesday whether a $131 million hospital being proposed in Lindenhurst is needed in Lake County. Supporters of Vista Medical Center Lindenhurst say it would provide access to care for residents in north and northwestern Lake County, while opponents contend there is no need for new hospital beds.
