March 16, 2013 Stevenson and sophomore guard Jalen Brunson weren't intimidated by Illinois high school basketball's biggest stage, producing a 60-49 victory over Edwardsville in the Class 4A state semifinals Friday in Peoria. The Patriots earned the program's first state championship game appearance and will meet Duke-bound standout Jabari Parker and Simeon for the title at 8:15 p.m. Saturday.
