3 in critical condition after 6-vehicle crash on Tri-State | |

July 13, 2013 Sixteen people, three in critical condition, were taken to a local hospitals following a six-vehicle crash Friday morning on the Tri-State Tollway between Milwaukee and Grand avenues in Gurnee. Police said a semi trailer truck hit two vehicles stopped in traffic causing a chain reaction. Two of the northbound lanes were closed for more than three hours following the crash.
