Clifford says he was pushed out for bucking patronage | |
July 13, 2013 Alex Clifford "feared and expected retaliation" from two Metra directors for refusing to go along with requests from Speaker Michael Madigan and other politicians, a document obtained by the Daily Herald shows. The ex-CEO goes on to say Chairman Brad O'Halloran contravened the state law by interfering with running the agency. It's a different story than the edited version Metra officials served...
